Tinker Trails is a personal playground born from my ongoing exploration in product design. Over time, I’ve collected a lot of thoughts, notes, and insights—but they’ve been scattered across too many places. This blog is my attempt to bring them all together.

It’s a space to document what I’ve learned, what I’m still figuring out, and what I’m currently consuming—from design process, design systems, and design strategy. More than just a journal, I hope it becomes a starting point for deeper conversations.

Since this is a passion project, I’ll be posting at a bi-weekly or monthly rhythm—depending on life. But the goal is to keep it consistent, reflective, and real.

About me

I am Firzan, a product designer currently building Core Payments and Ecosystem Integrations at Superbank.

I’ve spent the past 7+ years in product design, with a strong focus in fintech. From helping launch a new digital bank that now serves millions of users, to previously redesigning the design language of one of Indonesia’s legacy banks—I've been fortunate to work across different stages of scale.

What keeps me inspired is the craft itself—exploring design processes, building systems, and thinking about how design can drive real value.

Outside the 9–5, I’m into digging for records, discovering music, and watching (or debating) football. I could talk about all three for hours.
